Cumberlands’ Department of Music offers four music degrees and three minors. Every summer for the past twenty-eight years, GSA and our faculty of professional artist/educators have guided over two hundred of Kentucky’s finest young artists through three weeks of incredibly intense (and incredibly fun) arts instruction .GSA auditions promising high school sophomores and juniors in nine different arts disciplines: Architecture+Design, Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Instrumental Music, Musical Theatre, New Media: Stillshot Photography and Film, Visual Art and Vocal Music.

The Lexington Singers
The Lexington Singers have been performing major works in central Kentucky and around the world for 57 years, making it one of the longest continuously performing independent community choral groups in America. Based in Lexington, Kentucky, The Lexington Singers currently comprises five choirs with over 300 voices and provides opportunities for children, youth and adults.

The Lexington Theatre Company (“The Lex”) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that presents first-rate, locally produced, fully professional theatre for Central Kentucky. Our mission at Pep & Pizzazz is to provide our students with a positive environment in which they are able to excel in dance, cheerleading, and gymnastics. It is our hope that through our time at Pep & Pizzazz we will pass our own passion for these things onto the next generation, while also instilling positive values within our students.
