Watershed Arts Alliance and Downtown Somerset Development Corporation presents Blackbird Dance Theatre's THE BROKEN QUEEN in the historic Virginia Cinema Theatre.

Blackbird Dance Theatre, from Lexington, KY, is known for their artful and expressive storytelling through movement and dance. A visual album of The Broken Queen was recently released through NPR.

The Virginia Cinema Theater is a raw, unfinished space. For this reason, we are asking that you please bring your own, preferred lawn chair that you're most comfortable in, or a blanket to sit on. We invite you to be a part of envisioning what this space can be.

Also due to the nature of the space and for the safety of all involved, only 100 tickets will be sold.

Pep & Pizzazz

This 2 hour workshop led by professional company members of the Blackbird Dance Theatre, will focus on creating an original character and storytelling through movement. No previous experience required, and all ages are welcome.

Cost to attend is $25.00 and will be paid to Pep & Pizzazz the day of the workshop. Payment may be made by cash, check, or card.
